This Policy applies to all users of the Service worldwide. It covers information collected online and through the iOS application.

2.1 Information you provide to us

  • Account details such as name, email address, and password if you create an account or sign in with Sign in with Apple.

  • Content you upload such as journal entries, prayer lists, bookmarks, notes, or reading progress.

  • Customer support messages and other information you send us.

2.2 Information we collect automatically

  • Device and log data: IP address, device identifier, operating system version, app version, language, and time‑zone.

  • Usage data: screens viewed, taps, features used, error reports, and performance data.

  • Purchase data: subscription status and transaction receipts.

  • Analytics and crash reporting services (for example, Apple App Analytics or Firebase) send aggregated statistics about app performance.

  • If you choose to share Scripture App content via social media the relevant platform may provide aggregated referral data.

  • Personalise your experience, such as remembering reading plans.

  • Process subscriptions and verify receipts.

4. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA and UK users)

We rely on one or more of the following legal grounds:

California Residents

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) you have the right to know, access, delete, and correct personal information. Scripture App does not sell or share personal information for cross‑context behavioural advertising.

EU/UK Residents

You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us to delete it.

10. International Data Transfers

We may store and process information in Canada, the United States, and other countries. We rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, for transfers from the EEA or UK.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes we will post the updated Policy and, if required, notify you through the app or by email. The revised Policy is effective when posted unless stated otherwise.
